Our 2026 program, focuses on underwater archeology in the Upper Valley stretch of the Connecticut River. Annette Spaulding is a master scuba diver, historian and archaeologist and she has a passion for preserving our environment. She has spent several decades exploring the Connecticut River. This includes investigating historical artifacts under Sumner Falls in Harland, documenting the river’s aboriginal history near Bellows Falls and searching for a historic block house that was built along the original crown road between Fort #4 and the Springfield area.
